A peaceful haven with amazing views on an idyllic and slightly elevated farmlet in the heart of Nelson Tasman, The Pear Orchard Lodge is the perfect base for families, groups and retreats.

Supermarkets, bakeries and other conveniences are just 5 minutes away in Richmond.

Your hosts Olivia and Timo live in the farmhouse on the property and are happy to provide recommendations and insider tips, to help you plan the perfect stay.

Sleeps up to 20 guests in great comfort

Comfortable and flexible, the Lodge accommodates up to 16 guests in 7 bedrooms: 6 with super-king (or twin) beds and 1 family room with a double (or twin) bed and two bunks above.

Need even more space? Consider renting our self-contained cottage for up to 4 guests as well!

For babies, a portacot and high chair are available on request.

Use the large well-equipped kitchen and farmhouse-style dining area, or crank up the bbq and enjoy the verandah, lodge lawn and outdoor lounge.

Have your evening meals pre-prepared for you from local ingredients by a local chef, ready for you to warm up in the lodge kitchen or book a private chef to cook your evening meals for you at the lodge.

Enjoy The Good Life at The Pear Orchard: climb the hill and enjoy the views, relax in the outdoor lounge or one of our hammocks, explore the orchard, and for the kids, there are farm animals to meet and an old tractor tyre to swing on! Find out more about what you can do on the farm.
